Four children die in Gaza shelling
Fighting claimed more civilian lives yesterday as four Palestinian children aged between one and five were killed with their mother when their home in Gaza was hit by a tank shell while they ate breakfast.

An IDF spokesperson made a statement on the day of the incident setting out Israel's view that the damage to the house where the Palestinians were killed, was caused by explosives carried by Palestinian militants nearby, when they were fired upon by Israeli forces.
