Daily Telegraph distorts Israel's role on Gaza's border
The article implies incorrectly that Israel controls Gaza’s entire border and is exclusively responsible for who enters and leaves the territory. Egypt also shares a border with Gaza and refused to admit Ms Booth via its border, a highly relevant point which is omitted.

'Stuck! Booth’s mission hits the skids'
The Daily Telegraph, 4 September 2008
Lauren Booth, Tony Blair’s sister-in-law and a human rights campaigner, has been trapped inside Gaza as the Israeli authorities manning the perimeter fence refuse to let her leave.
Miss Booth, 41, arrived on the strip almost two weeks ago, aboard a boat called ‘Free Gaza’, to publicise the Israel blockade.
Israeli officials confirmed it had denied Miss Booth entry, as it did to anyone from Gaza who did not get there via Israel.
